DIY mini Sashiko coaster making Part2 - easy handmade gift - Sashiko stitching for beginners

Thank you for watching! This is the second video for making a coaster with mini Sashiko. (the first video - Making a coaster No.1:    • Making a coaster with simple & basic Sashi...  ) In this video, I will stitch a traditional pattern called Dan-tsunagi (repeated steps) using the Hitome-zashi method which uses grid lines for stitching. This design is for a 20x20 grid. I am using 5mm squares for the grid but you can use 1/4in squares instead (in that case, the frame size will be 5in x 5in). This is a very basic and easy pattern to stitch so it's great for the beginners! I am planning to do some more Sashiko coaster videos so please subscribe if you are interested. Also you can find other Sashiko videos on my channel. Thank you again! 00:00 Introduction 00:20 Preparation 01:08 Drawing the grid 01:32 Stitching horizontal lines 05:10 Stitching vertical lines 08:02 Sewing into a coaster
