Marcin Dylla - M. Giuliani: Rossiniana No. 1

If there's any problem with the video just tell me. thanks Mauro Giuliani was a guitar virtuoso of the early 19th century, and celebrates the music of Rossini by setting several operatic melodies and then varying them over the course of this "mini-opera." Along with an introduction and a coda (attaca with the final march-like theme), there are 5 aria themes and their accompanying variations. The character of the themes ranges from the melancholic and serene of the beginning sections to boisterous and dramatic of the last movement. Themes in Giuliani's Rossiniana No. 1: Introduction (Andantino) "Assisa a piè d'un salice" (Otello) "Languir per una bella", Andante grazioso (L'Italienne à Alger) "Con gran piacer, ben mio", Maestoso (L'Italienne à Alger) "Caro, caro ti parlo in petto", Moderato (L'Italienne à Alger) "Cara, per te quest'anima", Allegro Vivace (Armida) Marcin Dylla, Poland GFA 2007 Winner Performance Guitar: Double top Boguslaw Teryks, Poland Same Concert: Alexandre Tansman- Variations on theme of Skriabin    • Marcin Dylla - A. Tansman: Variations on t...   Joaquín Rodrigo - Tres piezas españolas    • Marcin Dylla - J. Rodrigo: Tres piezas esp...
