The Great Herdsman of Etive" is the Gaelic translation for Buachaille Etive Mòr, a famous and iconic mountain in the Scottish Highlands, located at the entrance to Glen Coe. It is one of Scotland's most photographed mountains due to its distinctive pyramidal shape, popular with hikers and climbers, and has appeared in films like Skyfall.  It stands at the head of Glen Etive and guards the entrance to Glen Coe. Its pyramidal shape makes it instantly recognizable and a favorite subject for photographers. The mountain is a popular destination for mountaineers and scramblers. The most common walking route ascends via Coire Na Tulaich, while technical scrambles and climbs are available on its east and south-east faces. Other facts: The mountain is also known as "The Buachaille," a reference to its name. It is listed as a Munro, a Scottish mountain over 3,000 feet. #buachailleettivemor #glencoe #glenettive #lochleven #scotland #scottish #visitscotland #scots #highlands #mountains #mountain #rivers #hills #hillwalking #fellwalking #nature #hiking #getoutside #munros #corbetts #donalds #marilyns #liveyourbestlife #wellbeing #mentalhealthmatters #freedom #rockstar
