In the 1920s and 1930s Edward Bagshawe featured prominently on the UK magic scene. He was well known as an author of important magic books, as a creator of innovative tricks and as a dealer. We do not know whether this professionally produced promotional film was an experiment, or whether it was distributed as a sales aid, perhaps to be shown at magic societies.
