This fairy-tale castle must be one of the best places to go in Wales

We went to Castle Coch (Castell Coch)which looks like a fairytale castle just like out of the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - one of Mum and Dad's favorite films. They remain terrified of the child catcher to this day! We visited the castle on a Sunday and traveled on the A470 which goes from Cardiff to Merthyr. The castle is maintained by CADW which looks after all the castles in Wales. The castle has a large car park which has strict closing times so beware as we were the last in the car park. There is a good shop which also sells ice cream in case the child catcher is not around. The website of the castle is : https://cadw.gov.wales/visit/places-t...
