It's been a while since I've had a rough ride, so I'm making up for it this time! I decided to participate in the Cross Country competition, which took place on March 8, 2025, in Morasko. It was the first competition of the year. The weather was perfect, which resulted in a huge turnout of competitors. Unfortunately, this also caused long lines, delays, and various organizational problems. Despite all this, it was great fun, and my good result only confirmed it. Around 200 competitors participated in the competition in various categories. The competition was fierce – as it always is at competitions! As for the course itself, I found it a bit boring – I definitely prefer hard enduro – but you have to be good at that kind of riding. Unfortunately, the organization was a major letdown due to the sheer number of participants. And the end of the competition proved to be downright disastrous for the organizer. The problem was that the timing machine was damaged. It was in a poor location, and at one point, a competitor riding at full throttle crashed into it, destroying the device. As a result, the results were a complete mess. Races without times? A bit weak, right?!
