A 19-year-old hero risked his life twice to save friends during the deadly New Year fire at Le Constellation bar in Crans-Montana, Switzerland. Ferdinand Du Beaudiez, from France, described the horrifying moments inside the blaze, saying: “I felt this fireball over my head… I couldn’t breathe!” He rescued severely burned friends, while his brother remains in a coma. The fire reportedly started from fireworks on champagne bottles that ignited the bar’s highly flammable ceiling foam, spreading rapidly. Ferdinand criticized the bar’s lack of emergency exits, calling it “impossible for this place to operate safely.” Authorities are still investigating the cause and safety failures at the bar.
