Lepas Keberangkatan Haji 2025, Ini Pesan Prabowo untuk Para Jemaah Haji Indonesia

TANGERANG, KOMPAS.TV - Prayers and hopes that Indonesian Hajj pilgrims would be able to perform their pilgrimage in the Holy Land and return in good health were among President Prabowo's messages when he saw off Indonesian pilgrims at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. After inaugurating the Special Hajj and Umrah Terminal at Terminal 2F of Soekarno-Hatta Airport, the President greeted the pilgrims departing for the Holy Land on Sunday morning (May 4, 2025). The six groups of pilgrims departing Sunday afternoon came from various regions, namely Jakarta, West Java, Lampung, and Banten. In his speech, President Prabowo stated that Indonesian Hajj and Umrah pilgrims constitute the largest group in the world. The Indonesian and Saudi Arabian governments have signed a memorandum of understanding regarding the organization of this year's Hajj pilgrimage. Indonesia's total Hajj quota for 2025 is 221,000 pilgrims. Of this total, 203,320 are for regular Hajj pilgrims, while 17,680 are for special Hajj pilgrims. The 2025 Hajj pilgrimage will still fall during the summer season. The government is also concerned about the large number of elderly pilgrims participating in the pilgrimage, ensuring they do not become ill during the pilgrimage and return home in good health.
