The Cosmic Farm located at Caban, Beckel, La Trinidad Benguet is a farm that advocates organic farming. In keeping with their advocacy, they not only organically grow plants and animals, but they also teach farmers the different methods of organic farming. The Cosmic farm is one of the several tourist destinations in La Trinidad that were accredited and allowed to operate by the La Trinidad Government. During the farm tour, we have seen several herbal plants and vegetables commonly found in our day to day dishes. Cosmic Farm also showcases their organically grown animals such as the brown and black pigs who, despite being fed with organic food and none of the manufactured feeds, have grown into very large sizes. The farm also showcases the black chicken which is believed to have medicinal properties. The farm charges P100/person as an entrance fee. You can also buy plants and vegetables at the farm as long as these are available.
