That didn't mean there would not be a need for an Ottoman navy, however. There would undoubtedly be rebellions and uprisings to quell around the globe, and many former warships, notably the numerous TB-94/40 and DD-10 torpedoboats, would see a second life as coast guard or customs office patrol boats. But also let's pretend that there are missiles now - how would cruisers and even capital ships be modified to fit them?
