2008 Compaq Presario CQ50-139WM running Windows Vista Home Basic SP2

I basically got this laptop from the same people I got my 2014 HP Pavilion 23 AIO PC from at the Trenton Yard Sales this year alongside with a Dell Latitude D610 (the latter I won't make a video of considering I've already done a video like this with a D610 that I had back in August of 2020). The OS performance on this laptop is just abysmal, booting this fresh install with drivers installed takes about 2 minutes to boot, and the touchpad doesn't even work at all (I tried installing the drivers, but to no avail). I'll probably reinstall the OS with actual factory system restore media or just install Windows XP on there. Specs: Intel Celeron 575 Intel 4 Series Express Chipset 3GB RAM 160GB HDD Windows Vista Home Basic SP2 x86
