Las Hermanas Mexican Goan food truck, North Goa, May 2026

Hi, friends, good evening. Today we are on our way to Panjim. Maria, Roma and I are going to go and try a Mexican food truck by these guys called Las Hermanas, which I think means ‘the siblings’ in Spanish. So let's see, we’ll get something different and interesting to eat. Costs we paid: lamb birria taco (Rs 450), pulled chipotle chicken taco (Rs 370), churros with Nutella (Rs 300), vindaloo chicken taco (Rs 380), chip and dip (Rs 180), coconut lime iced tea (Rs 110), Mexican horchata (Rs 130) It seems this Las Hermanas Goan and Mexican food truck’s location is not fixed. Nor are they open every day. So on the day you want to go, you have to check their Instagram story. Look for the link at the bottom of their Instagram story, where it says ‘Tap to find us’. When you click on that, whether on your phone or comp, it opens Google Maps to the truck’s location on that day. On the day we went, the Instagram story had said the truck would be in Miramar in Panjim. When we clicked on the link, it showed a location in Caranzalem, just after Miramar in Panjim. So we crossed Miramar circle on Campal and went south to Caranzalem. The turning for the food truck is at the main public entry way to Caranzalem beach Do check their Instagram story before going. Don’t just follow to where we went as their location is not the same everyday, nor are they open every day. While editing this film on a Tuesday, I checked their Instagram story again. It said they were closed and next day would be open on Kadamba plateau. The location showed up ahead of KFC on the Panjim-Ponda highway, near the turning for St Anne’s church Now, back to our bright red truck. ‘Vamos para tacos’, which Google Translate tells me, means ‘let’s go get some tacos’. Indeed, let’s get some tacos. We can see the lit-up menu on the outside of the truck. Wow, there are so many options. We can see both Goan and Mexican flavours. We will have to come back and try more tacos. We had gone on a Sunday evening. I think this Las Hermanas food truck is quite new, but seems to have quite a following already Definitely, a unique, one of its kind food truck that I’ve tried in Goa. That mutton taco was absolutely delicious, and the chipotle chicken. The chicken vindaloo one I found okay but the other two I found really delicious. It’s slightly messy to eat so, if you are having tacos, perhaps bring wet tissue to clean your hands, though they very considerately provide hand sanitiser also. Churros were too good.
