Jan e Jan - The Milestones

The Milestones; trio of free souls that made music only to please itself but albums to amuse people. Milestones was a Pakistani band formed in Karachi, in 1990. Regarded as one of the pioneers of the local pop music industry and rightly so, the band rocked it and made history. The group was formed by lead guitarist, Ziyyad Gulzar and bassist/vocalist, Ali Tim and lead vocalist, Candy Pereira. The Milestone was the first band with a female vocalist who sang metal , rock ,pop and basically all genres with equal ease. The band was bred by diverse inspiration of music gods like The Beatles, CCR, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix and The Doors. The influence is evident in the albums and music put on tape by the Stones. The bands compositions are a brew of pop rock with hints of Blues!
