Shore Fishing on Etive in December | Wild Camping with Hot Tent and a Steak over my campfire

Hiking the rough and overgrown trail alongside Loch Etive with a brace of shore rods and a rather too heavy backpack. I find a great spot to camp and fish and make the most of a short December day. My meal tonight is a juicy steak cooked over a slate on the campfire, washed down with a little pre-Christmas whisky and mince pies. A couple of fish interrupt proceedings before I retreat to my tent for the night, warmed by a lightweight tent stove. Next morning I plug away for a few hours, extracting a couple more spurdog from the depths. A supply of coffee and bacon rolls cooked over the stove help keep up morale before a long trek back. I've had quite a few viewers ask about the rigs I use for spurdog, so I go through these in more detail at the end of the video. I am definitely not sophisticated in my choice of rigs, but spurdogs aren't very fussy either! 00:00 Intro 00:34 Washed out trail 03:07 Fishing 06:26 Steak over the campfire 10:27 A New Day and more fishing 16:00 Tying a Pulley Rig
