Two Organists Improvise on Famous Organ Pieces!

Today’s video is a very spontaneous and fun moment from Stradella, Italy. Together with Timur, I sat down at this beautiful historic organ and we simply started improvising, trying out different sounds, ideas and famous musical themes. During the video you will hear little references to well-known organ music, including Bach’s famous Toccata in D minor, Bach’s “Dorian” Toccata, music by Widor, playful band-like sounds and many other spontaneous ideas. Nothing was planned — we just explored the organ, reacted to each other and had a lot of fun at the console. Recorded at Saints Nabor and Felix's Church in Stradella, Italy.
