We start at the English Market, one of the oldest covered markets in Europe, packed with local food, fresh produce, and a real taste of Cork life. It’s busy, authentic, and honestly… not quite what we expected. Then we step inside Cork Jail and this is where things get interesting. Walking through the old cells, corridors, and prison blocks, you really get a sense of what life was like here. It’s eerie, fascinating, and definitely one of the more unexpected experiences of our trip so far.
