On this dining experience we celebrate the 50th Anniversary, 700 subscribers and Magbis birthday. We had lots to celebrate on this day. Steakhouse 71 is inspired by the opening year of Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney World in 1971. It was also formerly The Wave restaurant and it was transformed to the beautiful 70's modern style steakhouse. The restaurant had a simple sleek 70's with modern style to it. It also had beautiful photos of Walt, Roy and the team before it all opened back in 1971. It had a bright and 70's ambience. The food was all inspired by Walt and his family and food items on the menu where foods that Walt and his family enjoyed. Some of the cocktails were also inspired by the citrus groves that were growing here before Disney World and Disney Contemporary was ever built. There are several different choices of steaks on the menu including some like the 12 oz. Roasted Prime Rib & Classic Yorkshire Pudding, 10 oz. New York Strip, and the Classic French Onion soup. They also offer 6 different choices of steak sauces. Plus, several choices of sides to accompany your steaks. The desserts were incredible like the Ambrosia and the Crème Brulee. It was an amazing birthday dining experience and all the food we had was delicious. We hope you have the chance to experience Steakhouse 71 on your next visit to Disney World.
