BP Lil Critter No.23 At The Field & Forest Railway 2026

As temperatures continue to rise here in the UK, it meant that more opportunities arose to get some trains running on the FFR. Starting with Aristocraft BP Lil Critter No.23 Diesel Shunter returning back to service after spending a few years in storage. No.23 has now had its rear coupling replaced so it's compatible with FFR stock as well as being fitted with a JST Plug to run off the battery box van. No.23 hauled the 4 wheel blue & cream observation which have also seen some improvements to the wheels and bogies which has made the coaches much more stable on the rails. Running alongside No.23 was FFR's firm favorite Converted Stainz No.2. Alternating both passenger and freight services, welcoming the BP Tankers which also have been sat in storage, alongside No.23. As a new day begins and temperatures continue to climb, it was time for some open air traction with United Traction Open Air Tram No.504 and Steeple Cab Tram E.1. Allowing passengers to ride the railway feeling the rush of fresh air through their hair.
