Did they not believe that Jesus would be crucified? Rev. Hicks corrects the questioner, who believed that this was in all of the gospels, when in fact, the sop being given to Judas was only mentioned in the Book of John. This reveals that actually only John saw and knew what was happening. She also discusses the special relationship that John had with Jesus and how this is an example of how Jesus loved all of humanity. Rev. Hicks quotes the Bible and discusses how many of the disciples were so shocked and fearful that they may be the ones who would betray Jesus. Rev. Hicks also reveals the significance of taking the sop during the Last Supper, which was a symbol of loyalty and friendship. Judas, while taking the sop, allowed Satan to enter into his heart. Satan couldn't tempt Jesus during his special fast, but he could enter into Judas for his betrayal.
