Barely back from the Netherlands, I was already back there again just a few days later for another trout fishing trip. This time, I spontaneously decided to go to the WILD trout farm. To be honest, I was running quite late and didn't get to the water until around 10:30 a.m. So I wasn't holding out much hope. I just thought to myself, "It'll be enough for a little trout fishing experiment." But when I arrived at the pond and took a closer look at the water's surface, I immediately noticed the incredible activity in the middle of the pond. After just a few casts, it was clear what needed to be done. So I quickly rigged up the right spoon – and from that moment on, almost every cast resulted in a bite or a fish! I could hardly believe it myself. You really don't experience a feeding frenzy like that every day when trout fishing. What happened on the water that day was simply incredible!
