My favorite guitar amp sim is Scuffham S-Gear, for me, it's all I need to get sparkling cleans, edge of break up, to full-on shred tones. I was just about to start a recording session and thought I would demonstrate how to get the tone I was after. The Studio Rats are core band members Paul Drew on guitar/production/mixing, drummer James Ivey and Dan Hawkins on bass. They collaborate with singers and musicians to produce radio-ready songs.
