Performing aircraft turnarounds at FRA with Swissport!

Join us for a very special day out on the busy ramp at Frankfurt International Airport (FRA) with Swissport. We're spending the day watching how ground handlers turn around an aircraft. And we've got a close up look at everything from loading and unloading baggage and cargo to what it's like to push an airplane from inside the flugzeugschlepper, also known as an aircraft tug. We've got narrowbodies as well as a widebody (the unique Uzbekistan Airways 787). We even take a ride over to the currently under construction new Terminal 3. Along the way there's a lot of planespotting we couldn't help but casually do, including of course a number of the 4-engined beauties (747, A340) that are very hard to find outside FRA these days. And it's extra fun today because Swissport is brand new to Frankfurt, where they're now offering passenger and ground handling services to a range of airlines.
