El Chalten Argentina: Fitz Roy, Laguna de Los Tres, Trekking na Patagonia

We thought we wouldn't make it there, it was one of the biggest challenges of our lives to date. In today's video, we're going to show you our trip to El Chaltén, in Patagonia Argentina. We started by arriving at El Calafate airport, where we rented a car and drove along Route 40. We stopped at the Parador La Leona to eat an empanada and then continued on our way. Arriving at Los Glaciares National Park, we arrived in El Chaltén, where we stayed at the Condor de Los Andes. The next day, we hiked to Laguna de Los Tres, which has Mount Fitz Roy in the background. The trail is 10 km long and is considered of moderate to difficult difficulty. To make the trek, it is important to bring comfortable clothes appropriate for the Patagonian climate, including a warm coat, long pants, gloves, hat and scarf. It's also important to bring comfortable, supportive hiking shoes, enough water and food for the trail, sunscreen, hat and sunglasses, and personal medicine. Here are some tips for doing the trail: Train before the trail to build muscle and fitness. Take into account your state of health. If you have any heart or lung conditions, consult your doctor before hiking. Let someone know your travel plans and when you expect to return. Mount Fitz Roy is a 3,405-metre-high mountain located in Los Glaciares National Park, Argentina. It is considered one of the most beautiful mountains in the world. It has a characteristic triangular shape, with three large walls. Laguna de Los Tres is a lagoon located at the foot of Mount Fitz Roy. It has an emerald green color, which contrasts with the snow on the mountains. It is an ideal place for hiking, camping and bird watching. The trail to Laguna de Los Tres is considered moderate to difficult. The first part of the trail is relatively flat, but the second part is steep and requires good physical conditioning. Upon arriving at Laguna de Los Tres, we were impressed by the beauty of the landscape. Mount Fitz Roy is truly an imposing mountain, and the lagoon is a place of unique beauty.
