Residents, hearing the victim's screams, immediately surrounded and attacked the perpetrator. Fortunately, the residents' anger was calmed after Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) officers and police from the Sumedang Police arrived at the scene to protect the perpetrator from further violence.
