Last week, Xuanyi Geng put out a statement on YouTube accusing Yiheng Wang, a 12-year-old Chinese cuber, former Rubik's Cube world record holder with a 3.08 single, and 2025 WCA Rubik's Cube world champion, of unfair behavior regarding the World Cube Association's new Head to Head (H2H) competition format. In the final round of Xi'an Cherry Blossom 2026, Yiheng Wang was accused of sliding, similar to what he did in his revoked 0.93 2x2 world record average, in his head-to-head match with Xuanyi Geng. Sliding in a Rubik's Cube competition would be bad enough, but since this was a head to head match, it also affected Xuanyi's result, as we'll discuss in this cubing drama video.
