The Pearl Fishers Duet | Euphonium Duet by Mick & Adrian Hanly

A family collaboration spanning two continents. This recording of The Pearl Fishers Duet began in Cork City, Ireland, where father and son, Mick and Adrian Hanly, both members of Clonakilty Brass Band, recorded the euphonium duet at Longyard Studios. The recordings were then sent to Adrian's brother, Robert, in New York. A pianist and composer, Robert created a new interpretation of the orchestral accompaniment, with the entire project produced remotely between Ireland and the United States. Back in Ireland, Adrian's mother, Mari, oversaw the video production, bringing the final elements of the project together. From the initial recording session in Cork to the orchestral production in New York and the final video edit back in Ireland, this project became a Clonakilty family collaboration spanning two continents.
