Snowy Elopement + Urban Wedding Weekend | Bridal Entrance + Groom Reaction Will Make You Cry!

One couple, two tear-filled days. First, they eloped, then they had their wedding. Each day equally as powerful as the other. With my work, I truly mean it when I say I’m invested in YOU. I create in a way where I want to tell your story with the same love and care that I would as if it were my own, I want to feel the emotions as if they’re my own. I think from Angela’s inquiry to her wedding day, we exchanged close to 75 emails discussing all sorts of things — her vision, her and José’s relationship, challenges they faced throughout the planning, you name it. Through it all, it was evident how important this video was going to be to them. With Angela being an artist herself, I feel like we really bonded over our passions. Our voice in the world and how we express ourselves creatively. So when it came to their edit, it was all about intention. Unleashing my creativity, trusting my gut, and making them something far more than just a documentation of their day — more so, a piece of art. Each and every detail from the spoken audio, quotes, lyrics, poems, and short stories were all shared during their wedding weekend, some even multiple times. It’s those small details, that only A+J and close family and friends will recognize while watching this, that make this film theirs — something that couldn’t be repeated twice. That’s really important to me. I can’t seem to find the words for the roller coaster of emotions I felt while editing this — some days were a creative high, and others full of immense pressure to make sure I left no significant moment out. I’m really proud of this film. I got to try new things and pour my heart into a piece that felt as much like a passion project as it did a wedding film. I think that’s what I mean when I’m after passionate couples, the ones who seek art. The ones who seek to experience the world in the same way I do. Anyway, I’ll let the rest speak for itself. It’s really special that two people who started as complete strangers are now friends, and I got to witness and document something as beautiful as this.
