Drippy Slippy Mug with experimental glaze-slip
Blog post: https://www.oldforgecreations.co.uk/b... The slip recipe is: Ball Clay 25% EPK 25% Silica 25% Nepheline Syenite 15% Frit 3134 10% and the version of it that is almost a glaze is: Ball Clay 15% EPK 15% Silica 15% Nepheline Syenite 25% Frit 3134 30% Meaning the middle version is 20% each. They are then coloured with approx 5% blue stain. Hopefully the intermediate versions will look and feel like extra thick matte glazes, but behave like slip. --- For examples of my work that's been glazed, check out my Instagram: / oldforgecreations Buy my work, or read more on my blog: https://www.oldforgecreations.co.uk/shop
