After spending many years in Baden-Württemberg Sarah Lesch (b. 1986) now lives and works in Leipzig. She has composed music for children’s plays and for many years has been one of the most sought-after and productive German songwriters with three albums and several concerts under her belt to date. Sarah Lesch has won the Troubadour song contest and the FM4 Protest Song Contest. She was awarded a prize from the Hanns Seidel Foundation (Songs an einem Sommerabend) and is a recipient of the Udo Lindenberg-Hermann Hesse ‘Panic Prize’.
