The Flintstones - Happy By My Side
The Seelie Court label is back, presenting a vast catalog of almost forgotten and extremely rare sounds spanning the psych, prog, and folk genres. A long-buried Indian psych-pop artefact, this 1968 single finds The Flintstones mixing bright harmonies with a dash of psychedelia. Written and arranged by Clayton Saunders and originally released by His Master’s Voice, it is a fine snapshot of Calcutta’s lively late-’60s pop scene. Reissued for the first time, it should appeal to fans of The Beatles, The Monkees and vintage garage pop.
