In this installation tutorial for the Mercedes C-Class W 205 and its related convertible, coupe, and station wagon versions, we demonstrate the complete installation of our sound system upgrade kits, each consisting of a DSP amplifier, various speaker solutions, and matching cable harnesses. Most of the installation takes place under the glove compartment. We demonstrate the removal of the center console to gain access to the radio module, cover subwoofer replacement, and finally, we show how to remove the door panels and properly install new speakers. Installing the center speaker and routing the cables to the DSP amplifier is also covered, rounding out the package. The upgrade packages are designed with practicality in mind, ranging from a simple upgrade to a complete replacement of all components. So there's something for everyone. The result after the upgrade is always a major step toward sound quality and performance improvement, but the complete upgrade with the Up8DSP amplifier and new i7 and i5 series speakers, in particular, far outshines the optional factory sound system.
