CLEAN ME This Singer 306K, Denis, is a sharp-looking gloss black painted machine. Initial inspection confirms the results of years of unheated storage-most of the wiring is decayed or chewed beyond repair. Crazing is on a large part of the machine. ACTION PLAN: DO a regular oil, lubricate and clean. Repair as necessary. WAX & SHINE. REPLACE WIRING: Do Motor Check, brushes, coil, etc. SCHEDULE RESTORATION. There is little known of this machines history. The gentleman I bought it from had it given to him by a friend who had inherited it. It would seem the machine was stored for decades. The state of the wiring tells a story of exposure to an extreme environment. This machine is about to finally have a nice place!
