Chatsworth Regency Festival, Celebrating Jane Austen at the Real Pemberley!

Step back in time with me for a magical weekend at Chatsworth House, celebrating all things Jane Austen! From strolling through the breathtaking gardens (feeling like Elizabeth Bennet at Pemberley, obviously) to admiring the stunning Regency costumes, this weekend was an absolute dream. I was invited by the Chatsworth event team to bring Blue Lady Couture along to be part of the Regency pop up market during their annual festival 'Celebrating Jane Austen' (Full disclosure: this isn't sponsored and I paid for my pitch like any other trade event). The stunning country house in Derbyshire is believed by many to be the author's inspiration for Mr. Darcy's house, Pemberley, and in 2005 it actually featured as such in the Pride and Prejudice movie starring Keira Knightley and Matthew McFadyen. Now Chatsworth plays host to a fantastic weekend allowing you to indulge in all things Austen. From wearing full costume to fully immerse yourself in the magic, to outdoor movie screenings and even a grand ball.
