Mackerel, Herring, or Gasperaux cut into 2-3 inch chunks for bait. the over under rig otherwise known as a Paternoster rig can be seen how to tie here    • Dropper Rig - How to tie a Paternoster Rig   for the connection to the braid to your rig line i use a simply double uni knot. super easy and cost effective way to surf fish for striped bass.
