Snowboard History: Burton’s Museum Tour In Burlington, VT
Ever wonder what lies behind the scenes at Burton's global headquarters in Burlington, Vermont? We tagged along with the company's Archivist Todd Kohlman for a tour of Burton's museum, which houses some fascinating artifacts from the company's nearly fifty year history, like one of Jeff Brushie's dreadlocks. Todd also takes us for a walk through of Craig Kelly's Prototype Facility, where Burton engineers develop and test all manners of technology in progressing Burton's products. The walls of the 10,000 square foot R&D facility are decorated with endless photographs, posters, and some incredibly rare and iconic Burton boards. If you want to see for yourself, Burton offers free tours Monday - Friday at 2PM.
