Israel's ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon backed claims by the Israeli military that an Al Jazeera journalist killed in an airstrike was a Hamas operative, in New York on Monday. He criticised New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani over comments he made following the killing of Al Jazeera journalist Ahmed Wishah stating that he was no journalist but affiliated with Hamas. "Mr Mamdani, we have the video. We have the evidence. This is Ahmad Wishah. The one that you condemned us for eliminating.
