Can EXTRA Oil Additives help with engine piston slap knocking?

Piston slap is a knocking or tapping sound that occurs when the piston in an engine makes contact with the cylinder wall. It's caused by too much clearance between the piston and the cylinder wall. This happens during combustion, the piston moves up and down in the cylinder. If there's too much clearance, the piston can rock from side to side and hit the cylinder wall. This causes a knocking or tapping sound. Piston slap is usually a minor issue, but it can be very annoying. It's rarely worth fixing without doing a full rebuild just for this. On my Honda i know the engine will last much longer so I will keep it going. In this video I also explain my reason for selecting an oil which has Molybdenum and extra anti friction modifiers. I used Liqui Moly Molygen 5w-30 oil. Molybdenum disulfide is a solid, inorganic compound made of molybdenum and sulfur. It's a transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) with a layered structure similar to graphite. This oil also has organic friciton modifers - additives used to reduce friction and wear in machines, especially car engines. This obsorbs on to metal sufaces. This helped reduce the intensitiy of the knocking (piston slap). In this video I also explain and demonstrate what an Italian tune-up is. An Italian tune-up is a driving technique that involves driving a car at high speeds to remove carbon deposits from the engine. The term originated in the 1950s when Italian mechanics used it on sports cars. The car is driven at high engine speeds and load to create enough heat to break apart carbon deposits. The deposits are then flushed out of the engine. This can improve engine performance and fuel mileage. Both the liqui molygen oil and an italian tuneup helped reduce the knocking of the piston. My guess as to why an italian tuneup helped reduce the piston knock is that it perhaps removed some carbon buildup on the piston - that also made the piston rings (compression rings) more elastic which has helped stablize the piston in the cylinder wall a bit more.
