Sandol, who started living in the countryside, started eating aralia shoots every spring from his first year. At first, he'd been watching his family eat, so I offered him one, saying, "Try one too." This time, he's enjoying the aralia shoots, too. hahaha. Aralia shoots have a bitter, slightly herbal flavor, so they're a divisive food, but my family loves them. hahaha.
