This time, we replaced the rotary tines on our tractor! We're not just showing you how to replace them; we're also explaining how changing the direction of the tines alters how the soil is gathered, allowing you to create furrows. Tractor tines have right-curve and left-curve designs, and by attaching them alternately, they effectively mix the soil during tilling. This time, we're utilizing this mechanism by intentionally changing the attachment direction so that the soil gathers towards the center. When we actually ran the tractor, it created nice furrows. Some of you might be wondering, "Does the direction of the tines really make that much of a difference?" But the video explains the mechanism clearly. At Sanwa Farm, the soil is hard and contains many stones, so we replace the tractor tines every six months.
