Behind the stage: GMB Pro Sound podczas 63 KFPP w Opolu 2026

The KFPP in Opole, which celebrated its 63rd edition this year, presents a significant challenge for the companies responsible for the technical aspects of the event. This year, the task was entrusted to industry veteran GMB Pro Sound, who – as always – approached the task professionally and with full commitment. Audio reinforcement for the Opole amphitheater, as with any amphitheater, requires quite special attention – the very wide audience, almost 180 degrees, plus the stage with the performing artists, located essentially in front of the sound system, presents a significant challenge for the system engineer and sound engineers. At this year's festival in Opole, GMB Pro Sound utilized JBL systems for sound reinforcement – ​​16 VTX A8 modules each and eight VTX A6 modules each for outfill. Additional A6 modules operated in the central area, amplifying the middle section of the audience, while further A6 modules served as frontfill. Here, we're using JBL, which, in my opinion, meets all the requirements for professional use. In other systems, much more work is required for the sound. In terms of dynamics, this is a system that doesn't need to be played very loudly to hear the frequency range and be satisfied with the sound.
