About 15 years ago, inspired by advice from a senior colleague, he opened a vintage shoe specialty shop, a rare concept at the time. Mr. Horiguchi originally loved sneakers. In the early days of his business, his knowledge was limited, and he spent time learning by visiting other stores with the vintage shoes he had purchased. Currently, he always tries on every pair of shoes he acquires, carefully checking their condition and comfort. This dedication has cultivated his keen eye for quality. "Customers don't need any knowledge of leather shoes," says Mr. Horiguchi. His patient and thorough customer service makes customers naturally want to buy from him.
