What makes a good dance floor? A good dance floor is when everyone is fully present, dancing with the music resonating emotionally and sharing the common goal of having a good time. These nights often stay in our memories for years. • What is the best play time? I enjoy all play times! However, if I must choose, I prefer the window between 1-4am (or being the 2nd/3rd act), because the tracks I love most aren’t usually the hardest or the most peak-time. Instead, they often have more space between layers, with a good groove, allowing more room for imagination and flow. • What was the idea behind your mix? I think this mix represents the softer side of me. It’s more fluid and hypnotic, emphasizing a smooth flow while still preserving my usual storytelling style. • How did you start playing music and what drives you? I was a raver before I became a DJ. I started raving at 20 in Australia. I traveled to music festivals, began saving tracks, and creating playlists. During a festival in Thailand, I felt the power of music and how it can heal my emotions. Eventually, I met a talented House DJ in Hong Kong and started learning DJing from him. I became deeply hooked on the feeling of connecting with people through my mix. The thrill of people understanding the journey I’m trying to create is incredible. Nothing compares to that adrenaline rush! Thank you Shanda   / shanda_dj   The Bliss   / theblissthebliss   Acud Club   / acudclub
