Tyreek Hill Traffic Stop Quick Recap

Tyreek Hill was stopped by Miami Dade Police on Sunday, September 8th just before the Miami Dolphins NFL home opener. Tyreek was allegedly speeding and that is the reason the motorcycle officer stopped him. Once the officer approached Tyreek’s vehicle. Tyreek handed the officer his license and rolled his window back up. Tyreek had an attitude with the officer, but it did not justify what happened next. The officer was offended and asked Tyreek to step out of his vehicle, but he was not doing it fast enough. Within 4 seconds, the backup officer threatened to break the window. Within 10 seconds, Tyreek was on the hot pavement face-down in handcuffs. It was clear Tyreek was not moving fast enough for the over zealous officer. Two of Tyreek’s teammates showed up on scene and one ended up in handcuffs, again, because the officer’s were overzealous. Miami Dade PD let them all go and the Miami Dolphins won their game.
