What is cold wax and how to use it in oil painting!

What is cold wax? How do you use cold wax? Why are so many artists using it with oil paints? In this video I hope to answer these questions and give you some tips and techniques on some of the ways I apply oil and cold wax to my supports. In the last couple of years, I have fallen in love with oil and cold wax and have been painting with it almost exclusively. Yes, I still like acrylics, but oil with cold wax seems to be the perfect fit for what I'm creating at this moment. Some of the reasons why I like painting with oil and cold wax is because it dries faster, makes my oil paint thicker, and gives it a matte finish.
