Is Protools Still The Industry Standard DAW?

In this video I discuss if Protools by Avid is still the industry standard DAW. The honest answer I think is that your perspective on this depends on your age. If like me you are lets say 35 and above Protools will be seen as the industry standard because every studio you have every been into over the past 20 years has been running Protools and you have owned and worked on it for many years, even if you don't now. The younger generation of producers and engineer won't see Protools as the industry standard.
