Often, we must drown to land, sink to swim, move to heal, and dive to the deepest depths to breathe again. When Josh showed me this song in July 2020, I wrote this video treatment right away. Almost too quickly. I didn't understand why so many specific characters and images came out of me upon hearing "MOI" for the first time. As the edit was finalizing, I realized that every aspect of this music video had already been a part of my subconscious for precisely 26 years. It was a wild journey to get this from paper to the internet, but … this is my love letter to those doing anything they can to heal by any means necessary.
