Bluegrass Banjo Lesson: "Reuben" (Part 2 of 3)

Hear this variation played with guitar rhythm backup (slow, medium, fast) starting at 11:45. This is Part 2 (refer back to Part 1 for tuning instructions) of a three-part instructional tutorial YouTube video lesson teaching the popular traditional bluegrass tune "Reuben" (a.k.a. "Reuben's Train," "Lonesome Reuben") recorded as an instrumental by Flatt and Scruggs on the Foggy Mountain Banjo album) on 5-string bluegrass banjo. It also forms the basis for the Osborne Brothers' hit song "Ruby." On this video I teach the up-the-neck part of the tune lick by lick, phrase by phrase, using on-screen tablature, then put it together -- slowly at first, then faster toward the end, adding guitar audio overlay (guitar chord notations can be found on Part 1). I have posted this teaching video for instructional purposes only and, in my opinion, it constitutes fair use: "The fair use of a copyrighted work, including such use by reproduction in copies or phonorecords or by any other means specified by that section, for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, is not an infringement of copyright." Free tab and play-along tracks at different speeds are available at my website, littlerockbanjo.com. Hope you enjoy.
