Onboard an 11-hour A321XLR Test Flight to Nowhere!
In this video, Chris joins the Airbus team on board the brand new Airbus A321XLR on a flight from Airbus headquarters in Toulouse to the North Pole. During this 11-hour flight we learn all about ‘Functionality and Reliability (FnR) testing’, also known as ‘Route Proving’. We also explore the systems and parameters being measured on this aircraft’s first polar FnR flight, and we take a look at how the crew work, eat, and rest during long test flights.
