The 1 Series, which was the only front-engine, rear-wheel drive (FR) car in the compact class, has undergone a major transformation in its third generation, finally adopting a front-wheel drive platform. But does it still have that BMW feel? And what exactly is a BMW? We'll be taking a closer look at the M135i xDrive, a 4WD car equipped with the top-end inline 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo engine, as well as the entry-level FF model, the 118i, equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo inline 3-cylinder engine.
