Getting to meet a young Anakin Skywalker and seeing where his story begins was one of the most interesting parts of The Phantom Menace for me. Knowing where Anakin eventually ends up made it even more interesting to watch him at the beginning of his journey. Now I really want to keep watching the Star Wars prequels and see how Anakin Skywalker rises and eventually becomes Darth Vader. In this Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace movie reaction, I’m watching the first Star Wars prequel movie for the first time and reacting to young Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn, Darth Maul, the podrace, and the beginning of Anakin’s story. After watching the original Star Wars trilogy for the first time, I’m excited to go back and learn how everything started. There are still so many questions I have about Anakin, the Jedi, and what eventually leads him down the path to becoming Darth Vader.
